Science Technical Services supports teaching and research activities for the Science Faculty as well as other university departments and external clientele. Established in the early 1960s as Science Workshops, the STS provides custom design, manufacturing, and repairs to variety of lab equipment.

A highly skilled professional staff can provide solutions in the field of Electronics, Machining, Welding, Vacuum, etc. The STS has the capacity to take ideas from sketches or detailed drawings to the final product including limited production runs. Jobs are submitted to the STS by visiting the appropriate STS group, consulting with the group supervisor and filling the Work Order Form. The STS Manager is Jacek Szubra, ext. 36599.
